We are currently seeking a self-motivated and proactive individual excited by the challenge of a role within our Case Management team. Working in a multi-skilled team focused on delivering core case management, this is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of the council, providing excellent customer service to a whole range of stakeholders. 

The primary function of the post holder will be to assist with the Revenues & Benefits function within Case Management. This will include monitoring and processing work received through different communication methods, accurate processing, collection, and recovery of Council Tax within statutory guidelines.  To ensure customers who are entitled to Housing Benefits or Council Tax Reduction receive prompt and accurate payment and claims are processed timely and accurately in line with current legislation and guidance.

You will need to have demonstrable experience (ideally at least 2 years) of working in a customer focused, support service role, experience working as part of busy team and of working to deadlines. You will need to have great attention to detail and be a competent user of IT.
