The Governing Body is seeking to appoint suitably qualified Teaching Assistant/s Level 2.  The positions will be fixed term appointments in the first instance until 31st August 2023, and subject to continued funding thereafter.

The work will involve supporting pupils in lessons, delivering literacy and/or numeracy units to small groups of pupils outside normal lesson times, and intervention and support in relation to students with special educational needs.

You will need to work well in a team, and be an enthusiastic and committed individual who has the highest expectations to ensure our students achieve great outcomes.  You must have an interest in working with students with special educational needs, and be willing to work with students either on a one to one basis or in a small group setting. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who wish to develop in a supportive, well-resourced and exciting environment.

If you can inspire, encourage, achieve, enjoy working with young people and are determined to make a real difference you could be the kind of person we are looking for.

Our recent Ofsted inspection (January 2022) highlighted many strengths in our school with a clear focus for further improvement.  We are oversubscribed and also benefitting from a Primary school, that is part of our Multi Academy Trust, which has located on our site from June 2022.  This is a very exciting time to join our school as we continue our journey to become an outstanding school.

Litherland High School is committed to safeguarding children and promoting the wellbeing of young people.  An appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS), and will be subject to references.
