We have an exciting new opportunity in the North Somerset Family Wellbeing Team.
We are looking to appoint a Reducing Parental Conflict Coordinator on a part time one-year fixed term contract.
This role is to develop an authority wide approach to reducing the impact of inter-parental conflict on children and young people as part of a whole family approach.
You will be developing and delivering evidence-based practice and supporting partners to deliver sustainable interventions that improve outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
Working as part of the BNSSG (Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire) you will be instrumental to the planning and delivery of evidence-based interventions, committed to raising the profile of the importance of healthy relationships in line with research driven practice and enable the embedding of reducing parental conflict throughout the service.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with families. Teamwork is essential in the role to ensure sharing of best practice and new ideas.
The candidate will have skills in ICT which will support in navigating the Early Help system and collating information for monthly reports.
Our family Hubs and Children’s centre’s offer a welcoming and supportive environment within a team that are dedicated to the positive outcomes to the children and families in North Somerset.
You should be a highly effective negotiator, able to work confidently and innovatively within a multiagency environment. You must also have a passion for finding solutions be up for a challenge and be prepared to try different ways of working to get results.
Applicants need to have an NVQ level 3 or 4 or equivalent qualifications.
The post may require some evening and occasional weekend work.
This post is currently fixed term but may be extended subject to continuation of government funding.
