We are also in the process of implementing three Town Centre masterplans and five further strategic development sites. The Highways and Capital Delivery Team have recently succesful in doubling the amount of capital funding, therefore are looking to expand the team to ensure that the service continues to deliver works. We are looking for a keen, motivated individual to undertake the role of Highways Projects Principal Engineer. The ideal candidate will have either suitable qualifications or appropriate work-related experience in delivery of a wide range of major highway projects.
The successful applicants will be based in the Stretton Way office in Huyton, working in an expanding multi-disciplinary team of officers and engineers working collaboratively, supporting each other and sharing knowledge as necessary to deliver successful schemes for the benefit of Knowsley’s local communities and the wider Liverpool City Region. Flexible working will be required, which may on occasion, result in working from home, different offices or on site, as appropriate.
Applicants must have a degree in relevant discipline, or recognised academic and/ or management qualification, with evidence of continuous professional development.
