This is a fixed term opportunity to March 2020 for a professional experienced in business analysis in a local authority transformation environment.
As a Business Analyst within the hugely ambitious Watford 2020 Programme, you will be a key member of the Transformation Team responsible for ensuring that the Council works as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Over a two year period, the Council has committed to transform the way the organisation operates. Following comprehensive reviews across the council, you will work to build on the high level design work already completed to produce a detailed design for each service area. This will include the facilitation of service workshops and detailed business re-engineering work to improve services and make the best use of the technology and digital solutions, including the council’s newly procured Customer Management System, available. This unique opportunity will allow you to directly contribute to the delivery of the organisation’s future operating model, utilising the capabilities developed elsewhere within the Watford 2020 programme.
What we are looking for:
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of local authority working and should embody the Council’s bold and progressive vision for the town and the organisation.
Advocating a data-led approach to business re-design, the successful candidate will have extensive business analyst experience, working constructively and collaboratively with complex services and their staff to design, build and implement improvements to specific processes and ways of working.
Working with Project Managers and service leads across the organisation, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to professional standards and the ambition to work as part of a high-performing team to deliver significant change within set timescales and budgets.
