These posts are offered on a full-time basis of 37 hours per week.
These positions require candidates to be a graduate (educated to degree level or equivalent in an IT related subject) and have a strong understanding of recent IT and security technologies.
A willingness to learn new skills and keep skills up to date is essential and knowledge of technologies may include Microsoft 365, Windows Server Environment, Networking, Virtualisation, Databases, Software/Image Deployment, Web/API as well as Ticketing and Resource/Security monitoring tools.
The successful applicants will be self-motivated with the ability to work alone and as part of a team when needs dictate. Experience in prioritising your own workload and taking on several tasks concurrently are essential.
The successful candidates will be provided with a work laptop with the possibility of working from home one day a week subject to needs of the business.
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide information and advice in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement.
The successful candidates will be automatically enrolled in the Local Government Pension Scheme and will be required to obtain a Basic Disclosure.
