We are looking to appoint a passionate, enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our team as a DAHA (Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance) Lead.
The post holder will lead North Somerset Council’s DAHA accreditation project, manage the process and engage with the wider organisation and partnership to ensure the accreditation is achieved.
In addition, this post will be working alongside the wider Safer Communities Team, who are responsible for developing and delivering the Council’s strategies to tackle domestic abuse and violence against women and girls.
The role will also involve working with social housing providers and partner agencies to promote the work of DAHA, to offer support with acquiring DAHA accreditation and any other activity to support the wider team.
We are looking for someone that is driven by the agenda, values the importance of coproduction with stakeholders, including people with lived experience, and is not afraid to test new approaches and changes.
