As a Team Leader within the housing service you will supporting customers and housing officers. Find your greatness as you help people keep or find a home.
We are looking for an experienced team leader who wants to work in a person-centred service. As part of our Housing Solutions team, you will change many lives for the better by working with individuals, and our partners, to prevent homelessness, or to find solutions to relieve a customer’s homelessness. The role requires a working knowledge of housing options legislation and practice, and the ability to interpret legislation into understandable guidelines. However, with the recent introduction of the Homelessness Reduction Act we need someone who can contribute to innovative and creative policies, strategies and processes.
We are looking for someone who has a degree or an equivalent qualification or experience in leading a person-centred service. Do you have strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members? Perhaps you’ve worked in a relevant role in Housing, Social Work, Occupational Health or within a local authority? Whatever your background, you’ll be used to dealing with complex customer situations that require sound assessment skills, teamwork, sensitivity and effective communication.
