If you want to make the next step in your career and are a registered Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Nurse with supervisory or operational management experience in Social Care, then we want to hear from you. As a Team Manager in the Promoting Independence and Supporting Independence Team (PI & SI) Team you will manage Senior Practitioner, Registered Practitioners and unregistered practitioners, overseeing cases requiring assessment, review and ongoing support. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in achieving outcomes, working closely with providers to support independence for our service users and develop the local care strategy across the locality as we begin to integrate with our partner agencies in Health. 


We are looking for a motivated, experienced professional with supervisory or management experience who is committed to integrated working with the NHS and ready to embrace and manage change in the new operational model within PI & SI Team. The team is based in Ashford, but some joined up working will be required across the Area with Canterbury Coastal. 

You will be required to lead a well-established staff group who have performed consistently at a high level and be able to work collaboratively with the Senior Practitioner to deliver a good standard of service to our customers.

The successful applicant will be required to operate as a team player working flexibly with the Canterbury Coastal Team Manager to develop creative processes which ensure resources are adequately distributed across the function. They will require a breadth of experience to reflect the diversity of clients and provision within this function to ensure good practice and performance of the team.
