Job Title: Partnerships Officer

Salary: £31,644 - £37,602 per annum
Basis: Permanent, Full time (36 hours per week)
About the Role
Are you passionate about working with voluntary sector partners to respond to local needs? Do you have project management and grant giving experience? Reigate & Banstead Council are seeking to appoint a Partnerships Officer to facilitate, support and enable a robust voluntary sector.
Your role will involve delivering grant programmes, supporting VCS organisations, project management, evidencing impact, and undertaking strategic work with voluntary sector partners to address specific needs such as support for older people, debt advice and supporting wellbeing.
About the Person
With a proven track record in project work across the public and/or voluntary sectors you’ll also need to demonstrate knowledge and experience of:
- managing and delivering projects
- strong negotiating and influencing skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- experience of developing and supporting partnership working with the voluntary sector
- experience of successfully delivering grant programmes and monitoring performance and impact
- the ability to analyse, interpret and present data, for example in funding bids and/or in progress reports
You will be well organised, with a problem solving approach, and able to deliver work to a deadline. Ideally, you will have experience of working in one or more of the following areas; local government, health or the voluntary sector.
