Wokingham has a clear ambition that services should be locally focused and responsive to the needs of residents and businesses. As part of this we have set up new in-house licensing and environmental health services.
We are seeking to recruit a Licensing Officer within our Enforcement & Safety Service. Reporting to the Service Manager for Licensing, the successful candidate will be pivotal in delivering a quality service. You will be working with another Licensing Officer and supported by Licensing Processing Officers. Within the Service there will also be a team of enforcement officers providing a service across 7-days a week, who will be able to assist with the investigation of alleged breaches of licence conditions.
You will need to have demonstrable relevant experience and knowledge, and posses a relevant professional qualification, for example from the Institute of Licensing, or substantial equivellant experience.
You will have a proven track record of achievement in problem solving, achieving compliance and customer satisfaction, excellent people management and communication skills.
Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to be part of a team in our new Licensing Service. For an informal discussion, candidates can contact Keiran Hinchliffe on 07933 172882.
