Business Administration Apprentice (Community Partnerships)
Fixed term – 24 months
Starting salary £19,904pa with potential progression to £20,290pa on achieving designated skills and experience
Our Community Partnerships Team is recruiting an Apprentice to join the team. This is an extremely exciting position for an outgoing person who is hoping to develop their skills in business administration, event delivery, whilst working with our community. As an Apprentice you will assist the team with all aspects of their work, including planning, promoting and delivering a number of key community events and supporting promotional campaigns.
This is a varied, hands-on role which will require you to support the team with admin tasks such as taking minutes of meetings, diary management, proactive marketing through social media, responding to emails, collating feedback and surveys on activities and assisting with any projects as required.
You will have good communication skills and an understanding of the importance of working in a confidential environment. A strong team player, you will be happy multi-tasking and have the ability to respond positively to change.
You must hold GCSE A* – C or 9 – 4 in Maths and English or equivalent and be able to work on MS Office. You will be a good communicator and have the ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Please note: If you already hold a degree you are not eligible for this vacancy.
You will be working at some evening events and at least one Saturday a month (sometimes more during busier periods including school holidays), plus occasionally on a Sunday.
We will support you to gain a qualification in business administration at level 3.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.
