Presfield High School & Specialist College are looking to appoint a Behaviour Intervention Support, Care & Control Lead/PE Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work 34 hours per week, Term Time plus 1 week.

Whilst previous experience of working in a SEN environment would be desirable, candidates who possess the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.
The successful candidates will be required to work with and supervise individuals and groups of children with significant Special Educational Needs under the direction / instruction of teaching and / or senior staff, inclusive of specific individual learning needs, enabling access to learning for all pupils and assistance and support in classroom management and behaviour techniques and providing specialist support with regard to children with ASD. The successful candidate will also be required to supervise whole PE classes during short term absence of the Teacher, support PE sessions as directed by the Headteacher.
