About the role
If you are patient, kind and caring you could make a positive difference as a support worker.
Feel rewarded and help someone get back on their feet as you support them through a short rehabilitation programme.
You don’t need any experience, just a desire to make a difference. We will train you on the job, it won’t cost you a penny and there are lots of opportunities to progress.
The aim is to assist people who have had a spell of illness back to independence in our intermediate care unit. Working alongside other professionals you will be providing some personal and intimate care and giving emotional and physical support to help clients regain the skills and confidence they need to manage these everyday tasks themselves.
There are permanent contracts available ranging from 18 to 36 hours per week.
Full time staff receive 24 days holiday plus bank holidays – this will be pro-rata for part time staff.
The post is based at Milton Grange in Eastbourne. It is accessible via bus route and has parking on site. You are not required to drive for the role. Extra shifts are often available.
