The Technical Support team is part of the Street Works department in Highways and Transport at Surrey County Council. We are responsible for finance, customer care and general business support functions of the Street Works department.
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to work within the Technical Support Team. You will be involved in liaising with statutory undertakers regarding fees and fines associated with works on the highway, raising invoices and issuing Fixed Penalty Notices, ensuring maximum allowable income is achieved by the department.
You will also support the Customer Care function of the team answering incoming enquiries from our Contact Centre and Members of the Public along with other general business support responsibilities.
