Do you have a passion for improving people's health? If so Halton's Public Health Team is looking to recruit a Breastfeeding Support Worker to join its busy Health Improvement Team.
Halton’s Infant Feeding Team is an important part of the children’s agenda in Halton. The team work collaboratively with children’s centres, Midwives and health visitors. The team offers infant feeding support and advice to all mothers as well as 1 to 1 support for breastfeeding mothers. You will contribute to the provision of a comprehensive Infant feeding support peer support service Halton, with the aim of reducing health inequalities. You will be able to demonstrate the necessary skills, enthusiasm and commitment in order to provide the best possible support and advice to all parents and work under the supervision and direction of the Health Improvement Co-ordinator.
