Commercial Manager - Theatre and Leisure

Salary circa £41,591 with progression to £48,670

Grade 6 (subject to job evaluation)

37 hours per week

A new role, with the primary responsibility of leading the successful management, commercial development and operational delivery of the Princes Hall, a multi-purpose entertainment centre in Hampshire, holding a 595-seat theatre and three function rooms www.princeshall.com  The postholder will manage a team of staff, and deliver a vibrant and varied entertainment and events programme designed to maximise usage, income and customer satisfaction.

The postholder will also be responsible for the operational side of the Council’s leisure contracts, working in partnership with contractors to ensure the provision of a high-quality, commercially focussed, leisure service, including a ski centre, leisure centres & pools, and community centres.

The post requires occassional unsocial working hours: weekends, evenings and Christmas.
