We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Individual Needs Assistant to join our team.
About the role
The post involves supporting a Reception child, working closely with members of our inclusion team to support their access to the curriculum. You will need to be able to build good relationships with children, parents/carers, key staff members and outside agencies to ensure good progress for the children you will be working with.
You will have knowledge of autism spectrum condition and be resourceful, resilient, able to work flexibly and be confident in using your initiative to meet the needs of those you are supporting. Prior experience of working with children with additional needs is essential. You will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
