We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic SEN Casework Manager (0-12 team) to join our busy SEN team in Brighton & Hove. You will manage a team of casework officers and share responsibility for managing our local SEN Panel and be responsible for the management of tribunal and mediation cases. You will work as part of the SEN management team to improve the Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan process and ensure families are at the centre of everything we do.

About the role

- have an excellent working knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice, and the identification and assessment of SEN
- be an experienced manager and leader of teams
- Have highly developed negotiation skills and an ability to influence and challenge practice and behaviour
Our Casework Managers manage a team of casework officers and the local SEN panel arrangements.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
