Trainee Housing Solutions Officer

Reporting directly to the Housing Solutions Manager, this an exciting opportunity to join Runnymede Borough Council as we continue our positive work preventing homelessness and ending rough sleeping in the area. This work will involve providing full housing solutions advice and links to appropriate help and support to deliver a high-quality homelessness service, managing temporary accommodation solutions as well as assessing and investigating applications for social housing.

We are looking for two capable and ambitious individuals to join our team as Trainee Housing Solution Officers. The successful candidates will be provided with the opportunity to have access to a range of training encompassing all of the functions within the Housing Solutions Service, giving you all the tools, knowledge and exposure required to progress your career.

You will have be a team player who is articulate, organised and keen to learn this interesting and at times challenging role. You will need to be able to provide excellent customer service whilst work well under pressure to support the Council to deliver first class housing solutions services.
