An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Operational Services Team to recruit an enthusiastic individual as a Parks & Streetscene Commissioning Team Leader. The post will be to deliver robust contractor performance and service delivery of the Grounds Maintenance, Streetscene, Leisure and other contracts delivered by Operational Services. This role will support partners to develop community destinations and enhance the local area.
You must have 3 GCSEs or equivalent (including Maths & English), a Health & Safety IOSH qualification or equivalent and a City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Practical Horticultural Skills or equivalent. You must have good written and verbal communication skills and a problem solving attitude. You must be able to work on your own initiative, be able to prioritise your workload and work successfully as part of a team.
You must have the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide clear information, advice and instruction in accurate spoken English.
The post is offered on a full-time basis over 37 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be automatically enrolled in the Local Government Pension Scheme and will be required to obtain a Basic Disclosure.
