The post is offered on a full-time basis of 37 hours per week.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Operational Services team to recruit an Operational Services Monitoring Officer. This field-based role will deliver effective contract management and service performance to ensure the smooth delivery of the borough’s allotment provision, tree management, green spaces, Parks and Playgrounds.
Applicants will need knowledge and experience of good horticultural techniques and practices, they must have good written and verbal communication skills, problem solving attitude, they must be able to work on their own initiative, can prioritise their workload and work successfully as part of a team.
Applicants must have the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide clear information, advice, and instruction in accurate spoken English.
The successful candidate will be automatically enrolled in the Local Government Pension Scheme and will be required to obtain a Basic Disclosure.
