The Directors of the Trust wish to appoint a dynamic, innovative, self-motivated and enthusiastic Teacher to join the team of Adelaide Heath Academy, Knutsford. Adelaide Heath Academy is a school for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. We currently have 57 pupils on roll aged between 7 and 16. Our aim is to enable pupils to have a positive experience of education and equip them for their future.

The school is opening a sixth form provision that will support ten pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. The sixth form at Adelaide Heath Academy will prepare students for their next step and supports students to achieve qualifications that are required to transition to a post 16 placement

We work hard to ensure that all pupils with whom we work feel valued and respected. We provide the support they need to learn and prepare to be active British citizens who contribute to society.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled 6th Form Lead to join our experienced team. Willingness to take on other responsibilities to have a positive impact on the wider school is desirable.

The ideal candidate will be dynamic and flexible and have the experience and ability to motivate pupils to achieve their maximum potential in English. There will be occasions when staff will be required to transport pupils, therefore the candidate should have their own vehicle, for which they will be paid occasional car user mileage.

In return we can offer you a very supportive and dedicated team; excellent working conditions; entry to an occupational pension scheme and commitment to professional development.
