We are delighted to offer this excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in project management to join the Early Help Commissioning Team.

Based at County Hall in Hertford, you will be part of the Early Help Commissioning team (within the Family and Health Services Commissioning (FHSC) team), which is responsible for the countywide commissioning and service development for early help services for children and their families.

We are looking for someone to undertake specific project management functions across the different activities that we commission, including Family Centre Service, My Teen Brain, My Baby’s Brain, targeted parenting support, local school partnerships, Building Life Chances and other Early Help commissioning activity.  You will also support services with their Early Help commissioning activity, and support all activity within the commissioning cycle.

You will support the Development and Commissioning Manager in developing services and processes, to ensure improved outcomes for children, young people and families. Your work will involve working in partnership and collaboration with a range of stakeholders to achieve these aims.

There are no specific qualifications required for this job although experience in project management and an understanding of Children’s Services would be beneficial. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate good negotiating skills and have the ability to challenge. An ability to develop good working relationships with service users is vital in order to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
