We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated administrative assistant to generate, format and send decision notices; plot planning conditions and restrictions upon the in-house mapping system and provide support to Charnwood Borough Council’s Development Management Group effectively and efficiently.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Administration Assistant to provide effective and efficient administrative support to Planning Services’ Development Management team.
As well as undertaking a variety of clerical and administration support duties, your role will include data entry, scanning documents, and generating/formatting outgoing documents.
You will have significant administration experience in a busy office environment and have experience of working with IT systems including word processing, databases and spreadsheets ideally within a regulatory environment.
A good standard of spoken and written English and Numeracy are essential, along with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You will also need to be able work accurately and methodically under pressure with a minimum of supervision.
A commitment to providing excellent customer service and continuous service improvement is essential as well as the ability to work remotely.
