Do you have experience of growing wildflower plug plants from seed? We are looking for an experienced grower to coordinate the AONB Wildflower Nursery. You’ll work with volunteers to make an important contribution to nature recovery projects in the AONB.

The postholder must be able to attend the wildflower nursery site in Arnside on a frequent and regular basis.

This post is temporary for 6 months. This is a casual post and hours of work are to be agreed with the AONB Manager. This post is based at the Arnside & Silverdale AONB Office, Arnside.

You may be required to undertake Standby duties to cover out of hours work.  

Lancaster City Council has unanimously declared a climate emergency and will therefore work towards reducing carbon emissions to net-zero by 2030. As part of this role, you will be expected to participate and work towards reducing carbon emissions.
