Electrical and Lifts Contract Manager
We are seeking an energetic, proactive individual to join our repairs and maintenance service, managing the electrical & lifts team. This important role put residents at the centre of the service as we work though often complex repair cases ensuring swift resolution and ensuring residents are kept updated. Good problem solving and collaboration skills are essential, as you work with a range of internal colleagues and external partners to find the best solution.
This post is located in the Housing Estates and Improvement section within the Place Department and will support the service with the maintenance of the council’s assets and ensuring the council’s Health and Safety commitments as aligned with the Council’s compliance responsibilities.
You will need to demonstrate a pro-active and flexible approach to your role including the ability to manage your workload with minimal supervision to work as part of a team, managing 5 officers
The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills and able to liaise with a variety of internal & external stakeholders to lead on the Electrical and Lifts activities incorporating the delivery of transformational change.
The service currently works in an agile way as agreed by the head of service. This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis.
