Adolescent Practitioner
This is an exciting time to be our service to embed or ways of working with adolescent and supporting the development of a Specialist Adolescent Service who are passionate around the safeguarding getting it right for adolescent.
We're looking for someone who is passionate and committed to providing support to young people and their families. You will be part of a highly supportive and motivated, multi-disciplinary and dynamic team that provides support to vulnerable young people and their families to prevent escalation into specialist services.
You will hold your own caseload delivering interventions and working with young people at risk of exploitation or extra – familial harm, young people known to the Youth Justice Service and those experiencing a deterioration within their emotional and mental health or at risk of coming into care.
This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills and knowledge with adolescents and families and to truly influence the lives of young people and their families.
You will be based within either the East or North Herts Specialist Adolescent Service undertaking assessments and providing direct intervention to families. You will have opportunity to work closely with partner agencies to ensure the best outcomes and opportunities for young people and their families.
You do not require any formal qualifications but experience of working with young people and understanding of child development will be an advantage.
