Team Manager - Localities
36 hours per week - Fixed Term to 30/9/2023
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Management Team of the Communities department at Sefton. You will provide strong visible proactive leadership and a collaborative approach to the Council’s plan to work collaboratively within our localities. You will also have specific operational responsibility for a team delivering the Homes for Ukraine programme, including developing links into the wider migration agenda.
This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of best possible outcomes for our communities and play an active role in the leadership, management and development of the Communities team.
What you will need to succeed
We are looking for someone with the ability to demonstrate entrepreneurial leadership across multiple teams and different service areas, driving continuous improvement and organisational change.
You will have experience of developing solutions that have enabled key changes to service delivery and be an experienced line manager able to evidence getting the best from your teams.
Experienced in stakeholder and partnership working you are able to identify future opportunities for collaboration with internal and/or external partners.
