ABOUT THE ROLE
To carry out football attendance duties within Parks and Countryside establishments.
To open and close sports pavilion before, during and after play as required.
To operate heating and lighting systems within the pavilion as necessary.
To ensure that all changing, shower and toilet facilities are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
To ensure that the immediate exterior of the pavilion is clean and litter and leaf free.
To be responsible for reporting any defects of the facilities to the area parks office.
To be available on-site throughout the period of attendance.
To direct teams towards their allocated pitches as required.
To comply with Health and Safety at Work Act by adopting safe working methods.
To carry out other reasonable duties as may be necessary.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN,
Work weekends and some evening at the start and end of season.
An enthusiasm towards community-based sports.
A Willingness to undergo further development and training.
A Willingness to liaise with user groups.
To be able to work without direct supervision.
YOUR EXPERIENCE SHOULD INCLUDE
An understanding of and an ability to deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Above all you will be looking to improve the way we engage with our employees/residents/customers to ensure they are at the heart of everything we do.
