Our CCTV Team are a key element to protecting the district and implementing the Council’s Community Safety Strategy.

As Senior CCTV Operator, you’ll be responsible for the daily staffing and operations of the Control Room and the equipment (such as cameras and radios) as well as undertaking monitoring and proactive patrol via our CCTV system.

You’ll work on a rotating 74hrs a fortnight shift pattern including nights, weekends and Bank holidays (including Christmas) which is 37hrs week and you’ll deal with any out of hour’s emergency calls, ensuring that they are dealt with effectively and where required you will implement the Council’s 24-hour emergency call out arrangements.
