Our Key Workers and Student Lets team have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Multi-Skilled Maintenance Supervisor professional, to join our dynamic business with extensive growth plans and excellent career prospects.
Working closely with the Repairs Operations Manager, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operatives and various third-party contractors, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing a team to oversee the smooth running of multiple Key Workers and Student Let sites, approx. 1100 units, within Greater London.
Duties will include planning projects, preparing operating reports and budgets, ensuring quality control of security/health and safety, overseeing and undertaking day to day repairs, installing appliances and equipment, checking control panels and electrical wiring, overseeing the maintenance of the grounds etc. We are looking for someone who has experience working in a facilities or multi-site maintenance management role or similar. The ideal candidate will have strong project management, negotiation, people-management and financial management skills. They will naturally have high standards, have an adaptable attitude to manage reactive tasks, sometimes at short notice, approaching every task with professionalism and excellence.
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Supervisor, you will be proactive and hands-on, with a knowledge of Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, customer-focused and forward thinking Multi-Skilled Maintenance Supervisor, to work in delivering a maintenance service across our Key Workers and Student Lets sites.
Reporting directly to the Repairs Operations Manager, managing a team of Multi-Maintenance Operatives, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and completing a range of repairs and maintenance tasks, including undertaking planned and responsive repairs for tenants, staff and void properties. For this reason, it's paramount that you have a number of skills from other recognised trades i.e., carpentry, plumbing, tiling and electrical work. You will be a first responder in cases of emergency and will be trusted to provide a high-quality service in accordance with the relevant safety regulations.
Your work will be crucial in meeting our customer's needs; therefore your expertise is essential to ensure we are compliant with relevant health and safety regulations will be central to your success.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of the service that Key Workers and Student Lets delivers. You will need to be proactive, have the ability to think on your feet, and demonstrate strong leadership skills, because no day is the same.
