Permanent – 25 hours per week – 38 weeks per year (term-time only)

Grade 6 – £11.70 - £12.92 per hour

The Governors of St Paul’s Catholic Primary School, Poynton, Cheshire are seeking to appoint a creative, highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 /Year 2).    The working week is Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 3.15pm, 25 hours per week but willing to consider job-share.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in Key Stage 1 (Year 1/Year 2) and have end of key stage assessment experience.

The successful applicant must be able to support teaching and learning in class under the direction of the class teacher. They will contribute to the planning and assessment of learning, working closely with the class teacher.

The successful candidate must be able to provide class cover when needed.

This role requires effective communication skills, a positive attitude, excellent teamwork skills and high expectations of standards for attainment, achievement and behaviour.
