Wirral Council is looking for a Technical Clerk to join the Technical Support Team for Building Control, Street Name & Numbering, Planning and Land Charges services. It is a very busy office environment, therefore the successful candidate will assist the team with the day to day entering of applications, including registering payments, uploading plans and documents, telephone support, along with general office duties
You will need to have excellent communication skills (both oral and written), demonstrate an attention to detail and have good IT skills. Experience of reading and measuring of plans would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given
This is a temporary 12 month contract
Above all you will be looking to improve the way we engage with our employees/residents/customers to ensure they are at the heart of everything we do.
