Contract:                  6 months (fixed term or secondment opportunity) until 25th January 2023

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Adults Social Services Directorate for a Team Leader for the Information, Advice and Assistance (IAA) Team.  The Team is the first and single point of contact for adults living in Blaenau Gwent who requires support to enhance their own wellbeing.

The role is responsible for the flexible, responsive and high quality IAA service including the further development of a preventative approach to integrated working across health and social care.

This post can also be offered as a secondment opportunity. Before applying for this as a secondment opportunity, candidates should seek approval to be released from their current post by their Line Manager.  Secondments are available to permanent staff of the Authority only.

The role will have line management responsibility of our preventative support including the ‘front door’ IAA Team (Local Authority/ Aneurin Bevan University Health Board/Third Sector staff) and Technology Enabled Care staff.

Thorough pre-employment screening is undertaken during the recruitment process. The postholder will be required to complete an application for a Disclosure of Criminal Records.
