Mobile Cleaning Operatives (x4 Positions)

The Regeneration and Community Services division within Blaenau Gwent are currently recruiting a mobile team of Cleaning Operatives to undertake cleaning duties in schools and Corporate Buildings throughout Blaenau Gwent.

Regeneration and Community Services are looking to recruit a team of Cleaning Operatives to undertake additional cleaning duties within the schools and corporate buildings of Blaenau Gwent from May 2022. The successful candidates will maintain the cleaning standards in schools/corporate building. This will be achieved by cleaning any designated area to a set standard by use of chemicals, equipment and machinery.  You will maintain your cupboard, equipment and machinery by cleaning and correct storage after use.  You will also place orders when you require replacement chemicals and equipment.

The successful candidates should be able to work as part of a team as well as using own initiative and willing to undertake any training considered necessary for the post. Full training will be given in line with the expectations of these Cleaning roles.

4 x 15 hours per week mobile cleaning posts to undertake cleaning roles throughout the Borough of Blaenau Gwent

Educational Attainments / Experience

COSHH and basic Health and Safety plus experience is desirable.

A full driving license is essential.

Thorough pre-employment screening is undertaken during the recruitment process. The post holder will be required to complete an application for a Disclosure of Criminal Records.
