About the role:

Welborne Garden Village is a brand new, high profile Garden Community north of Fareham that will deliver 6000 homes and nearly 6000 jobs, alongside schools, health facilities, parks and open spaces and extensive transport infrastructure within an attractive, walkable and leafy environment realised to high standards of design and construction.

Daedalus is the Council’s own 370-acre site and our vision is for it to become a premier employment location for aviation, aerospace engineering and advanced manufacturing businesses, underpinned by a vibrant and sustainable airfield.

The role will support the Head of Strategic Sites to progress the development of both sites by effectively influencing, motivating, and coordinating a wide range of people from different professional disciplines and organisations and developing a number of high-profile projects.

The successful candidate will focus on the delivery of the Council’s vision, objectives and legal obligations.  Duties will include:

  • Communication, Partnerships and Publicity

About You:

You will need to have excellent communication and writing skills and be able to build valuable relationships with both internal and external clients.

Previous experience of project management and preparing successful funding bids is essential. Ideally you will also have previous experience in Regeneration or Development

You must have enthusiasm and drive, a customer orientated and problem solving approach, and be able to adapt to changing work requirements whilst proactively prioritising and managing your own workload.

In return you can look forward to an exceptional working environment and employment package and the opportunity to play your part in shaping the future of the Borough.

If you would embrace the challenges this role will bring then we look forward to hearing from you.
