Rapid Response Worker
The Rapid Response Team work collaboratively with families in crisis to reduce the likelihood of young people being accommodated and due to an exciting expansion, we are seeking dynamic individuals with the ability to “think on their feet”, manage risk and deliver creative interventions to come and join us. Part funded by the NHS, our joint venture will increase our offer of support to include young people and families who present for Mental Health Assessments. This support will ensure that families receive appropriate, joined up and timely interventions across Health and Social Care.
By joining our team, you will be part of a dynamic, therapeutic and trauma informed service. You will be required to work on a rota basis to offer out of hours support – when families need it most and therefore you will need to be flexible and work some unsociable hours, weekends, evenings and bank holidays, as well as some regular office-based hours.
Experience of working with children, young people and families goes without saying. As does a Full Driving Licence due to the county wide nature of the role.
So, if you can demonstrate an absolute commitment to improving the lives of young people and their families and are ready for a new challenge, then apply to join our team, where, if appointed, you will receive a full induction and specialist training to help make a difference in a challenging but rewarding role.
