It supports young people who are challenged in education, their communities or home life to ensure a successful transition to adulthood.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible Support Officer (Administration) to work as part of a team with a senior support officer, team leaders and a team manager. You will be expected to provide a full range of administrative and general office duties including diary management, updating and managing computer databases, spreadsheets and management information systems, processing invoices and timesheets, producing presentations, publicity leaflets and fliers. The post holder will also be required to be proficient in the use of social media, including Twitter and Instagram to promote the work of Services for Young People.
Good IT, verbal and written communication skills are essential, and the role requires a high level of confidentiality, patience and accuracy. A quick learner, you will need to be organised, able to use your own initiative and prioritise your workload and be confident working in an office environment.
Flexibility and the ability travel so as to be able to work at other sites within the Broxbourne East Herts Welwyn Hatfield districts is required.
