We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and motivated individual to join our busy team. The Recycling Development Officer will provide advice and guidance regarding the Council’s waste and recycling collection service. They will also monitor and review recycling and contamination issues, working closely with our waste collection teams, local housing associations and other partners. The post holder will be required to collect and analyse data and they will also promote recycling and waste minimisation initiatives throughout the borough.

To be suitable for this position you will need to have a good level of education and experience in customer care. You will also need experience in communicating at all levels and direct working with the general public. It will be advantageous if you have a good understanding of environmental legislation and working practices relevant to the role and have good IT skills and experience, particularly around the use of Microsoft Office.
