About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Rehabilitation Support Worker to join the team in our day service
Milton Grange Day Service provides social and physical stimulation to older people with a variety of mental health and social support needs. The day service has capacity for up to 50 clients during the weekdays and 25 at weekends and is open 365 days of the year. The post is fulltime at 37hrs and you will be required to work alternate Weekends, and this will include some bank holidays.
You'll be leading and working alongside a team providing care, support, and meaningful activities to our clients. Part of the role is completing home visits to ascertain if the day service is suitable for new clients, so a full drivers license would be essential. The role will include line managing staff and leading the shift in the “duty role”
As a Senior based at Milton Grange day service you will be providing leadership to a team of support workers
You will need to demonstrate:
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to problem solves, work independently and as part of a team
- An understanding of good practice and being a good role model
- The ability to manage your workload independently, plan and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of mental capacity and creating person centred care plans.
- Managing stressful and complex situations

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
