We are looking for a creative and professionally curious Practice Manager who is committed to Strengths Based Practice, ensuring the delivery of excellent outcomes for individuals, carers, and families, champions the social care approach and knows the value of leadership within a skilled team.
Right on the frontline of our high performing adult social care service, you’ll be leading an established and skilled team. It’s a challenging role - but there’s no shortage of rewards either – from being part of a cohesive, friendly and supportive leadership team to making a real difference to the quality of life of the people we work alongside, you will be part of a large Council with many development opportunities.
Key responsibilities of the post include acting as Lead Enquiry Officer for complex Adult Safeguarding Enquiries. managing change, developing and supporting excellent practice, budget management, direct line management and supervision of Senior Practitioners. Experience and knowledge of the legislative and policy framework is essential.
You will focus on leading great performance from reviewing social care needs and budget management to ensuring people are supported to balance safety and aspiration to achieve the life they would like. You will have opportunities to contribute to the local and national agenda and always keep East Sussex residents at the centre of service delivery.
You will already know how to get the best out of a dedicated, professional team and hold a relevant health or social care qualification. In return, you’ll find manageable workloads and excellent training in a highly supportive environment. You will receive regular supervision and support.
You will need to be able to independently travel to cover the catchment area of the service to fulfil the needs of the role. We currently work flexibility with a balance of home and office presence.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
