Teacher of Science (Maternity Cover) - The Hastings Academy

Do you have a passion for Science and the tenacity to drive and improve the outcomes for students? 

A superb opportunity for someone to join our science department to cover maternity leave.  

The role may include teaching whole classes as well as delivering specific small group interventions in order to support learners and their progress within the Science curriculum.  We are looking for someone who:

  • Is highly organised, motivated and driven to succeed
  • Is a specialist in Science and committed to the progress of ALL students
  • Is a team member who will collaborate with colleagues to ensure the progress of students

The Hastings Academy is a secondary school for 11 to 16 - year olds in Hastings, East Susses. Our moto, Pride through success, runs through everything that we do. We are a modern and innovative school, with specialist classrooms and technology to support learning. Our team of talented professional staff are committed to maximising the potential of every child.
