Bright Start Nursery is a 55 place nursery located in the vibrant North Laine of Brighton, close to Jubilee library and the Prince Regent swimming pool. We are a busy full day care setting with a welcoming atmosphere and dedicated staff, working with a diverse group of families and children. We are looking for two enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to join our Bright Start team to deliver outstanding early years care and education to children ages 6 months to 5 years.
The role will be for 35 hours per week; Monday - Friday: 9:00-17:00.
Applicants must have at least one GCSE A_C or 9-4 or Level 2 NVQ or Level 2 functional skills or equivalent.
You will need to be an excellent communicator with co-workers, parents, and other professionals, and be sensitive to the needs of young children. As well as being a key person for a small group of children, you will haven an active part in a stimulating educational environment.
Our ideal candidates will have experience of working in an early year’s setting, with creative ideas on how to deliver outstanding provision. Experience of working with children with SEND, or English as an additional language, is very welcome.
