Knowsley Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Service has created a new post to
steer the improvement of outcomes for children and their families in Knowsley.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic manager to undertake the new role of Quality Assurance Team Manager for leading, monitoring and supporting performance improvement and effectiveness across Early Help and Children’s Social Care.
The successful candidate will oversee, develop and improve the quality of services locally, developing best practice and promoting professional accountability and autonomy within services so that children, young people and the families receive excellent services.
The successful candidate will deliver expertise through complaints, investigations, and inspections, particularly in sensitive or complex situations.
The postholder will be required to line manage staff responsible for a number of different fields, including practice improvement, workforce development, Apprentices and Assessed and Supported Year of Employment (ASYE). Therefore, experience of oversight of staff and students, including skills in recruitment, supervision, management oversight, training identification and delivery is essential.
