Revenues Control Officer
An opportunity has a risen for someone to become part of the exciting Leicestershire Revenues and Benefits Partnership. The Partnership is comprised of the revenues and benefits departments from Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, North West Leicestershire District Council and Harborough District Council.
We have an opportunity for someone to join our revenues control team working in the Leicestershire Revenues and Benefits Partnership based in Hinckley.
The successful candidate must have an in-depth understanding of council tax legislation and its administration processes. The role will perform a number of key activities ranging from accuracy checking, collating of performance data, and processing freedom of information requests.
You must be able to work quickly and efficiently whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy, be able to use a range of IT software systems including Microsoft Office suite or equivalent. You must be also to work in a paperless office, have a flexible approach to your work and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This position is subject to a basic DBS check.
