About the role

HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours per week. 44 Weeks per year to include only of 36.4 weeks Term Time, plus 1 week of INSET and 5.6 weeks paid holiday/bank holidays, plus 1 additional week to be worked during the school holidays.

 

We are looking to appoint an Attendance Officer who will be responsible home/school liaison ensuring the highest level of attendance and punctuality from our pupils. You will need to be conscientious, have high integrity and be able to work under pressure. You will need to be well-organised, practical, a team player, and be able to work independently.

 

- Are you flexible and adaptable?                                                                                           

- Are you able to manage a varied workload with key deadlines to meet?                                   

- Would your work colleagues describe you as “a completer/finisher with good self-motivation”?

- Can you demonstrate good IT skills?

- Do you have experience of line managing others?

- Do you know the importance of safeguarding young people? If the answer is ‘yes’ to these questions then Gildredge House wants to hear from you.

Starting Salary: £15,999.07 pa pro rata (£18,960 FTE to a maximum of £19,338 Scale Point 5 Point 13) which equates to Scale 5 Point 12 on the Gildredge House Support Staff Scale 2021-2022.

 

Contract: 35 hours per week, 44 paid weeks per year. (Includes 36.4 weeks of term-time plus 1 week of INSET (5 separate days), and 5.6 weeks’ paid holiday/bank holidays, plus one additional week to be worked during the holidays to be agreed with your Line Manager). 2022 pay award pending.
