Fixed term to November 2022
£10.22 per hour
21 hours over a 3 weekend rolling rota to be discussed and confirmed at interview
Weekend 1 (Mill) – 7 hours Saturday and 7 hours Sunday
Weekend 2 (Roman Baths) – 7 hours Saturday
Weekend 3 - Off
As part of the Museum Service team you will work in all customer facing aspects of the business primarily at Mill Green Museum & Mill and associated food services and at Welwyn Roman Baths. You may be asked to work at other leisure venues of Campus West and the Hive as required.
Your duties will include preparing the building to a high standard to receive our customers. Presenting a welcoming, courteous, helpful and efficient service to all members of the general public, you will anticipate the comfort and safety needs of our customers at all times.
With a good standard of education, you must be able to use an electronic point of sales system and a knowledge of cashing handling is desirable.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.
