Project Support Officer (Regeneration)

£35,744 per annum
This role is based in the newly formed Co-ordination and Programme Team within the Good Growth Directorate based at Union Street within the Programme Management Office unit (PMO) which will provide management functions across the Good Growth directorate. You will provide extensive support for running the overall programme of projects; in addition to providing support for major regeneration and investment projects and related place-based initiatives.
The role requires a can do attitude and the taking of ownership to tasks allocated, an individual who is a confident self-starter with the ability to react to and take on new tasks across the Unit. Regular tasks will include arranging project meetings and produce meeting documentation. Produce, maintain and distribute project documentation such as project dashboards and track project actions against targets. Produce project and programme communication and manage and support the delivery of projects and actions through collaboration encouragement and advice. Providing support to Senior Project Officers in the PMO team
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable ability and experience of project delivery, well developed IT skills and experience of using financial or project management systems and processes.
This role will be based at London Fire Brigade’s Head Office (Union Street SE1 0LL). GLA staff are hybrid working up to 3 days a week in our offices and remotely depending on their role. As part of this, you will need to split your time between home working and coming into the office.
