About the role

We are looking for an excellent, self-motivated and inspirational Reception class teacher who is committed to a child-centred approach to learning. You must be familiar with all aspects of the EYFS curriculum and assessment and dedicated to creating exciting, purposeful and challenging learning opportunities. 

This post isn’t suitable for ECT’s but we would consider applications for those wishing to job share. 

We are looking for a teacher who:

● Is able to inspire and motivate children to achieve their best through creative, exciting and high quality teaching and learning opportunities

● Is a reflective practitioner who is eager to work in a team to improve their own skills

● Has a proven ability to work as part of a team

● Is able to be responsible for creating a safe environment to support, nurture and inspire children’s development and learning

● Has experience in assessing child development and planning activities to support their on-going attainment and growth

● Can work in partnership with parents to ensure children thrive at school

● Is honest and compassionate
